Dear Baby Patience,
It has been over a year and a half (actually, almost two years) since you have blessed us by your presence from the Lord. You will learn, throughout your life, that our emotions will vary from time to time. How we feel and what we are feeling will vary, greatly, on what is causing our emotions in the first place.
So, I have put together the main levels of consciousness that you will experience throughout your life. There is no way around these levels. No matter what you attempt to do, you will experience them:
1. Shame-There are times we will feel humiliated and sometimes our own family members and our closest friends, sadly, can be blamed for this. If you allow shame to control you than you will view your life as a misery. And that is one of the worst feelings that we can ever feel about our lives. We should not live in misery and we can prevent ourselves from living in shame.
2. Guilt-This is a feeling of blame. Guilt can cultivate into destruction. We can view our life as evil if we allow guilt to overtake our emotions. Our lives can get destroyed and we can start to walk down the evil paths of life if we allow it. We can stop this, though, at any time. We can walk down the positive paths in life and we can live a fulfilling life.
3. Apathy-If we have a feeling of apathy, then we will have a feeling of despair and helplessness. This can lead to a person to give up one's own power to others...I know how our family reacts and I know what a majority of your family members act...and none of us will ever give up on life just because we are in an apathy mood for the time being. We all know that emotions will pass and that we can all talk to someone else in our family about how we are feeling at the time. We can also seek professional advice if our emotions are attempting to overtake our entire lives.
4. Grief-This can become a feeling of regret. It also includes sadness and the feeling of being lost. The life-view with grief is tragic. We will feel guilty a lot in our lives...as we grow in our lives. If you lose a family member, a close friend, or someone that you love; and if something happens to them and they pass away, grief will overcome our emotions. We will feel lost. We will feel secluded and we will have many questions as to what happened.
5. Fear-Anxiety overtakes fear. Our feelings and our energy will become affected greatly by fear and anxiety. We may even become withdrawn from our family, our friends, and from society if we are developing fear. Our life-view can be very frightening when we are dealing with this emotion.
EMOTION FEELING ASSOCIATES LIFE-VIEW
6. DESIRE Craving Enslavement Disappointment
7. ANGER Hate Aggression Antagonistic
8. PRIDE Scorn Inflation Demanding
9. COURAGE Affirmation Empowerment Feasible
10.NEUTRALITY Trust Release of everything Satisfactory
11.WILLINGNESS Optimism Intention to do anything Hopefulness
12.ACCEPTANCE Forgiveness Transcendence Harmonious
13.REASON Understanding Abstraction Meaningful
Patience, whenever you face uncertainty in your life, there is different ways that you can manage them:
1. Focus on things you can control. If you cannot control something or if something is out of your reach, it isn't worth freighting over.
2. Live your life as you would, independent of the uncertainty (no more being afraid of the dark, or what's behind door number 3). For example, apprehending the unconfirmed job comprehending how you did on the test. Or, if your brother's girlfriend like your or not...and so on.
3. Bring certainty to the important things. For example, going to some foreign country that you have always wanted to see and tour.
Let the other things go. No more dependence and don't worry about the rest.
